Feh.
Have I mentioned I'm in Texas? 11pm and still 91 degrees outside. I walk outside and automatically have a dewey moisture sprout along my hairline. All the blow drying and hairspray in the world couldn't contend with this weather. I may give up on the whole short & poofy cute style in favor of something else.
Went grocery shopping and bought $44 worth of food that will feed me probably well into the next week. It's a meat free diet, but it keeps the costs down, and I LIKE vegetables. I did splurge on a lump of fresh mozzerella for when I make my meatless spaghetti with mushrooms and garlic.
Ooh! and I got presents from the hotel again! Goodie bags rock!
My centipede died today. I found his little corpse on my bathroom floor this morning. Being a harmless centipede/inchworm I didn't grind him into oblivion.
I told my evening class - the third shifters that consistently get screwed - that if they all got in to class and logged on to the system by 7:05pm (theoretically, class starts at 7pm and it takes no longer than 30 seconds to log on) that I would buy them ice cream on my dime. Hopefully they take me seriously, they have been consistently screwed over being the third shift. So I'm going to go out on my 5 hour break tomorrow I'm either going to go get an ice cream cake - for instant gratification - or I'm going to go get Baskin Robbins gift certificates. I'm thinking I'll get the ice cream cake, that way they actually have something. And ice cream, in this weather, is probably a welcome treat.
I feel so sad for my 3rd shift guys. 2 of them are raising children on their own. They work nights so they can get their kids off to school and be home with them during the evening. To my credit, I know every member of my class by name. I have a couple star pupils and a couple slow learners. But everything seems to be moving along smoothly so far, even though I am learning new screens myself and funtions I've never done before, like building loads.
My laptop should be arriving this week with all of my training environments. Are you ready to learn, Mr. Man? Your own private SAP tutor. I'll wear a short skirt and low cut blouse and make sure I bend over you a lot, hehehe...
Off to bed with me. I'm trying to establish a schedule so I don't stay up all night and sleep my mornings away. There's only so many hours I can get things accomplished in during the day.

so... freakin'... HOT!
